It has come to our attention the following request for money being sent to .ie domain holders. The letter comes from the internet register ireland is is requesting a "correction" in their listing of your domain. The correction cost is 958 euro and this amount is in the middle of the text. It appears you get listed on a directory once for your 958 euro. The small print says the company Deutscher Adressdienst GmbH has the right to make an advertisement in any form they wish, it will run for 3 years , and if you do not cancel it in writing it will continue to run. In our opinion this is a scam. aimed at large organisations where a bill for 1k will go unnoticed. A link below to the actual letter.  |
