What’s New in Sage 50cloud Accounts v29
The customer and supplier records have 3 additional analysis and email fields, allowing 6 analysis and emails per record.
The number of characters available in a Product record for the description and Part Number have been increased to 120 and 60.
Added EORI number to customer and supplier delivery addresses.
EROI number is required for users dealing with cross border trade – they must be able to store an EORI number on customer and supplier delivery addresses.
New Company Registration Number field has been added to the Customer, Supplier and SetupData data objects.

A 16 character Company Registration Number field has been added to the Customer and Supplier records.
New – Increased Product Record field sizes
The Product Description has been increased to 120 characters and the Supplier’s Part Number to 60 characters.
New – Additional Email and Analysis fields
3 new Email and 3 new Analysis fields have been added to the Customer and Supplier records.
New – Refresh Button
A Refresh button has been added to all the ledgers. Just click this button after you have used one of our Adept CSV importers to add records to a ledger to refresh the record list.
New – Filters On Code Prompters
The prompters that help you find the correct Customer, Supplier or Product record now have a filter feature to help locate the correct record.
New – PayPal and Stripe improvements (50cloud only)
You can now apply part payments and settlement discounts to PayPal and Stripe payments.
New – Companies House Lookup (50cloud only) ( only works for UK – not Ireland )
A button next to the new Company Registration Number field allows you to lookup up company details at Companies House.
Quick Search The Quick Search function has been extended into individual record fields. This makes it even easier to find existing records when entering data, for example, you can find a product record using its part number, or a customer record using a contact name. Quick Search has also been added to the Projects module.
Product record Product description increased from 60 to 120 characters to give more flexibility. Similarly, the part number field has been increased from 16 to 60 characters.
Record analysis fields 3 new analysis fields have been added doubling the available fields.
Email fields You can now associate up to 6 email addresses with a customer or supplier record.
Refresh ledgers A simple “Refresh” button has been added to the ledgers so you can be sure you’re viewing up to date information when working with other users. Function key F5 performs the same task.
Batch entry New “Gross” column added to batch entry windows to show total net + VAT value. This is a row by row read only value.
Delivery addresses You can now add an EORI number to Customer and Supplier delivery addresses.
Sales orders You can now dismiss the status message as not to be shown again.
Recurring items A “Calc net” button has been added to recurring items to aid quick net calculations.
Internet Explorer removed The software now honours your default browser. ( thank you sage )
